FROM A NORFOLK REDUNDANT CHURCH A GOOD EARLY 18TH CENTURY OAK SIMPLE RUSTIC COFFER. IT HAS THE NORMAL DOUBLE LOCKS ON THE FRONT BUT UNUSUALLY THE INTERIOR CANDLE BOX ALSO HAS A LOCK ON IT
IT MEASURES 124CMS LONG 58CMS HIGH AND 38CMS DEEP.
THE CONDITION IS GOOD . THIS IS BASICALLY A 6 PLANK RUSTIC COFFER AND THE COLOUR IS A RICH TAWNY BROWN .
THESE WERE APPARENTLY USED TO KEEP THE CHURCH VALUABLES IN , HENCE THE TWIN LOCKS. BUT THE CANDLE BOX!!
